This is a short video of a coffee house in Austin, Texas. It's called Ruta Maya and is located on South Congress Ave. They have a large venue where they host music, poetry and plays, while also being open during the day for coffee, beer, and snacks. Here, we have a short video George Sabra as he creates a humongous 14 foot sculpture made of discarded marble and granite. Mr. Sabra is very concerned about the waste that is created by industry. His work supports and encourages the idea that waste can be useful and sometimes beautiful when put to good use. Watch this short video to see what he has created, and partly how he has created this art.
